Austin-Course 3

We started our review packet for our final exam.  Review will begin on Monday.  Final exam is June 8th and 9th.

Mercer - Humanities

What we did today: Today we watched the news and shared the last current events of the year.  All students were given their tests today and the results were great, many A's and B's.  We also worked on our class country and had some scenario's that we had to think about and try to solve.

 

Homework: 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th hour students need to have the permission slip filled out and returned tomorrow to be able to watch the movie.

Mercer-Humanities

What we did today: Today we watched a video about the first emperor of China.  They used their writing piece from yesterday to compare the characteristics of the emperor with the characteristics they thought made up a good leader.

 

Homework: 2nd, 4th, and 6th hours have their last current event of the year due tomorrow.

 

Be on the lookout for a permission slip to be signed.  We are going to watch a movie about the Dalai Lama called Kundun and I want parental permission.

Many students completed and presented their projects today.  Hoping that we may be able to do a mini-lesson on Photoshop.  Only 2-3 classes left in the school year!
